I am always finding the north star, when I come into a new place or return to a place that I have been. There is something about knowing where the north star is. Yes it gives you all your direction but there is something else to it for me, maybe it takes me back to a time long ago, when I was only but a young boy. A time when my father showed me the big dipper and how it pointed out the north star, a time that seems so long ago and yet feels if as it where just yesterday. Odd, how some things stick with you. Even now that I am an older man than my father was at that time, I still an not sure just what it met to me than or now, but it somehow gives me a good feeling to find that dipper and follow it’s direction to the north star. I think of my father each time I do it and I find that star about every place I go. I wish I could remember that night better, but I only remember that it happen.
This morning I washed the RV off a little and than went into Grants and did a little shopping around and got my laundry done too. Just catching up on a few chores.
After I got back from town I took me a nice little walk of maybe two miles or so.
Hey, about the weather, I am pretty happy, seeing as we have had two days of sunshine. I like that. It is cool enough at this elevation that all day sunshine feels good, gets a little warm but not bad at all to me, as a matter of fact, I don’t even mind taken my walk in the hottest part of the day.
