Got to restart Firefox ………….. just updated the add-ons. Yes I am one of those people who just can’t stand the ideal of not having the latest updates to my software ……………………. OK now that is done, I can go on with life, LOL.

Have I said how nice the weather has been of late? Of course I did, but it is so nice that it is worth saying yet again …………… it is prettier than a red basket full of new-born speckled puppy dogs, and now that is just pretty!!! I usually save that one for the young women, but now-a-days they are not sure whether I am complementing or insulting them, so I just keep it to myself when I think it now, LOL.

7pm:  Tonight I don’t have the TV on and it is after 7pm, I thought since it was Saturday night and TV has nothing good on I would just get on the computer for a bit. It is so quiet here tonight, I like that. Well maybe a generator  running in the distance, I can barely hear it and I must listen to do so, that will all go away by 9 pm. The silence is the best part of boon-docking.

Early this evening I went out (about 6pm ) just for something to do and stopped by Jack in the Box for a drink. While there I was a pretty young woman and I though about the red basket above LOL. She would have fix the description! I only grin to myself as I was thinking about it.

The Solar charger is running a little weak today with the overcast sky coming and going but I am sure by days end I will have plenty battery power. My solar system is doing a great job this year.

Time on the computer/smartphone always surprises me with how fast it goes by. I sat down and do a few things look up and hour has passed. I like now that I have the smart-phone because I can use it for many of the little things that I check on the web such weather and other things that only take a minute or two. Smartphones are one of the better inventions in the last few years.

Meeting people is sometimes surprising, as far is what they believe to be the truth. I try not to judge folks for what they believe but still one will surprise me now and again. I guess the boon-docks is the prime place to meet folks with different ideals. LOL, I will say no more.

I am starting to think on what I will do this summer. I would like to find a way to make a couple hundred dollars extra a month but I don’t know if I will or not. The extra money for 4 or 5 months would sure help things. If not, we’ll make do.

Exercise: Yes I did that. I write this everyday just to keep myself honest . When I don’t write about things it usually means that I am not doing as well as I would like at what ever it is. For example, weight, I am at a stand still on it. I am not going up or down. At some point I need to renew my energy to the gold of a lighter me.

4:30 pm Whoops got the back smarting just a little, too much stretching! I either stretch a little too hard or did it a little improper, either way the backs hurts a little. I am sure it will pass in a few days, may have to rest the stretching a bit.

Email addresses: With multiple email accounts and multiple devices it is hard to keep up with just how things sync together. I don’t add enough addresses to always remember how to input them in a way to keep them all sync with each other. For example when I add an email address I want it to go to both computer email client(Thunderbird), to both my Smartphone and tablet, plus I want it sync online with my main g-mail account. It is ease enough to do, but it must be put in the right place. When adding by one of the computers I must make sure that I have the main account open in the address book and if I do all is well. Adding it to the wrong account or just in the general address book will not get it sync. When adding by phone I must make sure that it is going into the g-mail address book and not the phone’s address book or again it will not sync. When I go for a while and don’t add no one to the address book I forget these little things and must learn them again. I did this just the other day.

Yes I take a few extra steps by having emails in multiple places but I always have a copy of emails that I need when/if something breaks. Also there is a copy of the email addresses with me at all time, which can come in handy sometimes.

It is a beautiful day so I think I will go out and enjoy the day.

Battery maintenance, was done today. I top off the batteries with distill water today and that needs to be done about once a month. My batteries are doing very well as best I can tell. A fully charge battery is about 12.6 volts and that is where my evening starts once the tops voltage wears off(takes about 15 minutes of running something from the batteries). I watch TV for 3 to 5 hours and do other little things like charge my laptop battery or charge other rechargeable batteries around the RV and run a few lights, fans and other little loads. By the  time I go to bed my batteries are still at 75% or at a voltage of 12.4. When boon-docking it is OK to run the batteries down to about 50% which is 12.2 volts but no more than that. I hope to keep my batteries for 7 years or so with careful use. We’ll see how that goes , 5 years is considered a good life for golf car/deep cycle batteries. The solar panels bring them back to float voltage of 13.4 by about 12:30 pm. During the afternoon I use my laptop and other small things while keeping my batteries at full capacity, once the batteries reach full charge I have solar energy to spare for other things as long as the sun stays up.

Today it is windy with gust up to about 25 mph. I needed badly to clean my solar panels so up on the roof I went and got the mess off. Even with the wind blowing pretty good today the dust don’t seem to be too bad, so hopefully the panels will stay fairly clean. The weather man says that tomorrow the wind will not be blowing ……… but we will see.

Apps: Still playing with the Easymoney app but can not yet bring myself to trust it completely. I have found out that it does do backups to the SD card on each new transaction, but still I worry on it.  I will have to see how it does over the long run and see how ease, or not, it is to get access to my older records in a month or two. So I will be keeping a paper checkbook along with this app for now and if it turns out to be solid, then one day I will just drop the paper checkbook. A two or three-month test should tell the tell.

Exercise: Yes I got me some of that exercise! It is far too windy to ride the bike so it was a good walk, maybe 3 miles. I did a good stretching routine when I returned from my walk ad I feel well. Maybe I will do a little more stretching later on.

It is into the afternoon already and I have gotten my exercise and stretching done at least. Not a fast day for me, LOL. We are finally getting some sunshine, after our overcast morning, looks and feels nice.

Apps: I have been playing on the smart phone again and this time I put on a checkbook app, Easymoney (it don’t have a link to any of my accounts) and I like it very well. I am not brave enough to get a full bank app on the phone yet, I don’t trust the privacy of smart phone. A full bank app would connect to my accounts and I could do banking from my phone. The app I got is kind of like check register but has no account numbers or anything connecting it to the bank other than which bank I use. I’ll play with it a bit and if it is good enough and has a way to backup I may give up my paper check register. Might be kind of handy to have my check register in my pocket all the time, that way I can see all the money that I don’t have. LOL.

Blog post: Looks like some time about the middle of next month I will be hitting 1000 post on my blog. That is a lot of chatting about nothing.

Today I have the laundry done, some house cleaning (man it needed it) and haul in some fresh water for my RV tank. So a few things done.

I am running the generator now since it is a bit overcast and I wanted to fire up the desktop for a bit. I wanted to do a couple of photos so here they are, sunrise on a Friday morning. That’s my rig enjoying the rising sun .

I am out of practice with Photoshop ………… It has been awhile. Well, maybe I will work on that.

Also while in Yuma I took my air-card by the Verizon store and they updated the firmware for me and it seem to be running at least as well, and hopefully better in the future.

So I am just doing a few fast lines and then I will be in the chill out mode, starting now, night folks.

The weatherman says it will make it to 72° today, so not too bad. It does feel a little cool just yet and it is already afternoon. I sure won’t complain at 72° .

Word:  In reflection of my post “My history with words”, I use a lot of tools to help me write and it helps a great deal but does not care all problems. I have talked about this before but I thought maybe I would go over it again for other that run upon my blog and maybe could use the writing help.

I use text to speech (TTS) sometimes to see if what I wrote sounds sensible, when I have the time. Maybe I do not use TTS enough LOL. The tool I use the most is my phone’s dictionary with it’s speech recognition, I just could not live without it. The phone is always right beside me when I blog. I used to use the speech recognition on the computer but the phone is just a lot faster and better, maybe it understands my southern-drawl better, LOL. Spell-checking is a must for me, and the word-press blog has one build in, thank goodness. I also keep a list of words in a notepad file on the computer for words that constantly evade my spelling ability. Of course one of the things that is helping the most is my typing that gets just a little better each year. When I started this blog I was only a hunt and pecker and now I can maybe do 20 or 25 words a minutes, still not good but I am getting better, slowly but surely. Lots of spelling and grammar errors still get by me and you know this if you read my blog much, please forgive and look over me . I do keep trying to improve.

It is near 1:30 now and the temperature is about at that 72° I spoke of, so I am on my way out to enjoy some of that!

Exercise: A day off is in order I think, just because I can! The knees ache a little so I will let them rest a bit, maybe still do my stretching, we’ll see. I did get out for a while and just piddled around.

Drinking: I was reading some of George’s post and about 3 days ago he post this about Temperance give me a little laugh as I do understand as to where he is coming from. Give that post a read.

I have not got into anything yet today, only been to Jack and Box and back and I forgot to stop at he store to pick up a couple of things I needed so I will head back out here in a bit. I need potatoes, a lemon(for my tea) and maybe a good steak.
