I rode with MapMyRide! Distance: 19.05mi, time: 01:48:30, pace: 5:42min/mi, speed: 10.54mi/h.
The above part of this post, posted from my Thunderbolt phone with the WordPress for Android app.
Anyways, the above is how I got my day started, a fine start you ask me! I have needed a good workout for a spell now. Something about a good hard workout that makes me feel much better. My ride started with a head wind for the first half and about five miles of that was up hill. Of course the ride back was a piece of cake with a tail wind and five miles of that down hill. If you look at the satellite view you can see that it’s all open desert, great ride. Oh, you can add half mile to that to, because I forgot to start my app 😦
One other thing to, (sorry can’t help myself) It was beautiful weather for a ride today, (there, the weather talk is now out of me, for the day) LOL. Now if I can just work up a little doctor talk ……. All my being-an-old-dude obligations will be fulfilled for the day.
My friend and I took a little ride into Q today and I keep forgetting to take my camera alone. Well I will be right where I am now (parked/camped) for at least another week, so surely I will remember sooner or later. Wanted to take a few more pictures of the city/wide-spot. If I am near the area come January I will take some shots with all the people around, just to compare.
This evening I fired up the generator and updated my desktop. It took me a while to get it going because I think the motherboard’s battery is a bit dead where I have not run it much for over a year now. It fails to start for about 15 minutes and then it will start prefect every time, and I think that is because the battery charges up. At any rate I updated Windows, Firefox, Thunderbird, Evernote, Adobe Photoshop and Keepass.
