Sunset and rocks

Pictures: Here is a sunset and some asked what the piles of rock where, so here you go.

Saving the bush, there are a million of these around.

Fire ring, seems like everyone has to build their own, you can find them 20 feet apart in BLM areas that are used a lot.

  1. Thanks for the explination! I suppose the ring around te bush is to prevent the soil from blowing away? Would it be possible that plants sprout more easily in left fire places because of the vertility there? (I don’t know why I am asking things like this. studiousness, or perhaps plain curiosity, is my second nature πŸ™‚ )

    1. You are welcome, they are Creosote bushes and will grow about anywhere in the desert without any help. I think someone just decided to protect this this one because it is in a open area where lots of RVs park and they just wanted to save it. The are hundreds within eyesight from my RV but not so many in the flat areas where the RVs park. These are my best guesses πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks Hien, but I will be glad to get back to areas where there are more birds, in the coming summer πŸ™‚ I do enjoy the sunset but I miss my feather friends!
