Woodpecker

Pictures: Here is a shot of the Hairy Woodpecker coming by for a seed or two. I miss part of his tail in this shot, little too close, which is a good thing in photographing birds I guess.

Truck: I talked with the body-shop this morning on the phone and it is likely I will have my truck by tomorrow evening. It’ll be good to have the other half of my home 🙂 .

Exercise: Today would have normally been my day off but with getting the truck back tomorrow evening and needing to move right away, having to find a new loading plan with the added bike, I am going to have a busy day coming up soon that may not allow time for exercising. So I exercised this morning and will likely do so tomorrow morning and that will give me the option of a day off later on this week if needed.

  1. You are doing well with your walking. Do you know how many miles you ride on your new e-bike?
I don’t see any stretching mentioned though.
Nice photo of the Hairy Woodpecker. I don’t think we have those around here.

    1. Thanks Meta, I ride between 3 and 5 miles a day on the bike but it don’t count near as much on the e-bike as it dose on the other bike 🙂 , I do keep the assist rate low and peddle a good bit but still not like doing it all.
I just can’t get my mind set on doing my stretching, I need to be careful when I stretch now as the bones and joints are not what they use to be, I just need a bit more settling in mind. I do hope to get back to it, don’t guess it counts for much but I do keep it in my mind.
My Sibley Bird guide show that the Hairy Woodpecker is near everywhere in the US.
