Hello Again

I guess I am back to blogging now! I have been work camping for a year now but I am done with that. I have been able to put away a little money but now is not the time to buy an RV (even a used one like I am looking for). I had plan on work camping for a longer period of time but I just wore out on that ideal. I am glad to not be working no more πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€, Yes I am, who likes to work? I do like staying busy doing something but it surely does not have to be work!!

I am still in the Deming NM area and will be for at least another 6 month to a year more.

I have forgotten have to do all this blogging stuff! I have not been taking any pictures either so I will have to get back into practice for that too. While I have been away lots of new stuff from Canon has come out in the line of cameras but I will not be scoring a EOS R5 anytime soon at their prices. I hear and read many good things about the new cameras, they must be excellent.

Anyways I am back!!

  1. Welcome back! I sold my RV last December and moved into a small house! One day I’ll buy again. It’s good to see you back! Glad all is well!

    1. Thank you, it is good to be back! A tiny house maybe? After RVing for some time I do believe that I could live in a tiny house πŸ˜€. I think the RVing thing is in my blood now, don’t want to even think about giving it up! However I have good friends that have stopped RVing after many years and seem very happy being back in a stick and brick.

      1. You’re welcome! It’s a bit bigger than the small house I designed (it’s 1,000 sq ft.); 3 times the size of the R.V. but small for a house. I always called it stick and brick too! RVing is in my blood, so I miss it terribly. There are conveniences that I do enjoy again. But one day I’ll be back out there! I’ve spent too many years camping to give it up too easy. Take care!

  2. Welcome back. Thought of you quite often, as you were gone longer than I thought you’d be. Most recently thought of you last week. My wife and I, along with another couple, were on a 7 day road trip and at Hot Springs National Forrest in Arkansas I saw an RV camp which brought you to mind and I was hoping you were okay.

    1. Hello David! The work camping thing kept me busy and from not doing the fun things I like, but I am done with that for now and happy to be back. Thank you for thinking of me. I am fine but a bit out of my routine of things for now.

  3. Welcome back! The weight and exercise thing–UGH!
I just take pics of my little Central Massachusetts area, and once I started looking, I have never run out of subjects. I bet you will find lots in your area to keep you blogging.
    Cheers,
    Julie

    1. Thank you Judie. For me that weight thing has always been a big fight, and as I age the exercise thing is beginning to be more of a fight too.

I just took a look at your shots of the repurposed railway, wow that is beautiful, I would love to walk there!

  4. A late welcome back to you, John! I’ve been working as a poll worker for this election season and have not had much of a chance to look at WordPress, but it’s good to see you blogging again.
