Today I finish off the last 5 feet of the roof with EternaBond tape. So I am just going to chill for the rest of the day and maybe tomorrow too. I think I have gotten the major (leak area) fixed. There are other possible areas, but none as major as the one I just got done with. I’ll try to work through them all in the next couple of weeks.
Tomorrow I can catch up on my chores, shopping and such. A day off that ladder could be a good thing, π. And, if not a good thing, certainly an enjoyable thing π.
On the weather side of things, they are giving some possibility of rain next week, which would be very good for the area. It may even cool things down a bit, which would be good too! Also, it would help with all these wildfires we have going on here in NM. Let it rain!
Hope everyone has a nice weekend.
Great job, John, on all the accomplishments! Rain is much needed here in SW MO too. Iβm hanging in there! Finished my first round of chemo and resting. Take care! Karla

Thank you ever so much, Karla. Hang on tight and give it your best fight! I hope the chemo didn’t feel too bad for you, I hear that it can be trying. Reading your blog, it sounds that you have ran into just that, and I am so sorry to hear it. I am thinking of you with all my best wishes and hopes.
You amaze me that you find time to think of others, when you have so much on your plate to deal with. Karla, I think you are an amazing, strong person.

John, your words touched my heart this morning. Thank you so much. I felt well enough to visit my Dad yesterday. It was about a 45 minute drive to and home. I was completely exhausted and it was worth it. Iβm thankful for the chemo break, but had no idea fatigue would be such! I dream of my RV days and miss them so much. Iβm so glad I was able to find you here and become friends! Thank you again for your encouragement and kind words. Please take care too!

Hang in there, Karla. Chemo can be rough, but some survive for quite a while despite the fatigue. My heartfelt best wishes go out to you. I saw my husband through 15 years of Multiple Myeloma. It is a rough road.

It cooled off a lot here and we had a few drops of rain. I hope you get some rain. Enjoy your break from all that ladder climbing and hard work!

Thanks, Deborah, I am enjoying my weekend. Yesterday (Sat) I did a little work and today (Sunday) I have chill completely.
It has cooled down a lot here, and we are getting a little rain, but I would like to see one of those nice long pouring-rains, that we rarely get here. We may very well be getting a little rain in the next few days, and I have high hopes for it to be so!
