Lazy Bone, Better

Okay, this morning, I shuck off the old lazy bone and got a couple of things done around this place, of course there is plenty more to do. Anyway, I went up on the roof and worked for 30-40 minutes, and then raked up a few pine needles and trimmed a little on the trees. The 3 pine trees sure do drop a lot of needles. I ended up getting about 3 hours work in this morning. Some of the jobs I start, can go on for days, and those are the ones I got to watch out for, because they are the ones that get me over doing things, and then I get a bit burn out, and the old lazy bone will flair up. LOL.

I have been enjoying the rain this year, it is so good that we are getting a little rain. This has been the best year out of the last three for rain. The rain keeps it cooler too, and that is also a plus.

The other day, we had a really hard downpour of rain and there was a lot of water in a short period of time, and that in turn cause the Mexican spadefoot toad Frog to come up for a visit, and you could hear them partying and having a good time, and shouting out for a mate. They make a pretty good racket. I had heard them before, but had kind of forgotten about their behavior of coming up to mate during the rainy season. It was neat to hear them again. I looked up just how far down in the ground they go, and it can be between 13 inches (0.33 m) and 3 feet (0.91 meters).

Have a good day Folks
