I got a bit done this morning. I redid one of the roof vents. They are only 18″ square maybe, but it takes a lot of time to remove all the old stuff (Mostly calk, some silicon) that has been layer on for years. Of course that is the job, nobody wants to do, and it should be done each time you add more calk. So easy to add and so hard/time-consuming to remove. At any rate, I work on the one vent for 3.5 hours or more.
It is in the mid 90s today, starting up with that hot stuff again … 😩. I so enjoyed the cooler weather we had for the last few weeks.
I talk to friends back east, and they have been having hotter weather than we have had out here in the southwest.
