Pictures : The Hummers have been scariest around here this year. Here is a Black-Chinned Hummer having a bit of sugar water.
R7 : I was about 15 feet from this Hummer with a 100-400 lens and the R7 did pick up and track the eye, pretty impressive.
Night Folks
I see many more dragonflies now than hummingbirds. Thanks for the photo. ππ

Thank you, Gail. Maybe the wildfires had something to do with it? I just know I am not seeing as many.

The 100-400 is turning out well with the R7. Great news!

Thanks, Hien. It is doing well enough for me, but every time I see a shot with the RF 100-500, I turn green with envy. Maybe one day β¦. π.

Thanks Hien, yes I will, and I do receive the emails from them. So if it’s a very good deal, I should know about it.

I rarely see hummingbirds here. What a treat to see this one. You and that camera are working well together!

Thanks, Still trying to get the hang of all that tracking and eye detect and other stuff that is new to me, but I am liking it. The Area I am in has never been thick with Hummers, but it seems this year has been a lot slower than the two before.
