Thanks Deborah, I really don’t know my moths from butterflies. Years ago, when I first started shooting, I bought a book on butterflies, and I might have it around somewhere. Maybe I’ll have a look for it.
I found my book, but still have no ideal what the one above is! I did a little internet searching, but still nothing. I am sure it is a moth, but that is about it.
That second moth is unique…at least I’ve never seen one before. Lovely images, John!

Thanks, Hien. I have seen them beat up pretty bad, and they seem to do okay. I, too, hope it accomplishes what needs accomplishing in its life. 👍
