Pictures : I went out to the small lake here in Deming last Friday and this Coot swim over to the shore, and demanded a treat. I was thinking that maybe it was going to come stand on my shoe, but it did stop short of that, “Sorry, Mr Coot, I don’t have any treats”.
A sign that is in the lake area. Not a very good shot, due to the background (would be a better afternoon or evening shot), but I like the sign.
