Pictures : I am posting the shot I took right before yesterday’s shot, and I have added much more sharping to it. Please tell me how it appears on your computer, is it over sharpen? Also, please tell me the resolution of your monitor. I am curious how it shows up on other people’s computers.

Running the Roads: My friend is back in town that likes to go a lot, so I often join him and ride the roads when he is around. Today was such a day, we had a good, out and about, day.

  1. First of all, I like the picture very much. Love the colours. The bird might be a wee bit over sharpened, it really stands out, but that is not to bad. A little more softness might make the feathers a bit more.. feathery though. Did you use your new camera? My monitor is set to 1920×1080. So you were on the road today. Cool!

    1. Thanks, Peter, your input is invaluable! I was obviously thinking that I might be over doing it a bit. I love lots of detail in an image, but my setup is about 5 feet short of how close I should be, and I often don’t get the detail I want, and then end up overcompensating in post-processing. But, I thought I’d give it a shot and see how the people’s computer see it. Again, thank you so much for your input.

    1. Thank you so much, Deborah. Pretty much knew that I was overdoing it, but I wanted to play and see how other people’s computers were seeing the image. I hope somebody will jump in there with an opinion, that has one of the 4K computer monitors. Would love to know how the image looked on a high resolution monitor. However, I’m thinking if it looks overdone on a 1080 monitor, it would definitely look bad on a 4K.
