Weather: Nice and cloudy here at noon and a little thunder can be heard off in the distance, maybe we’ll get some rain this weekend yet.

Diet/weight: I am really picking up more and more vegetable and fruits in my diet and I like it, hopefully the scales will too 😐 so far, so good. I have really cut back on red meats too, well pretty much all meats but red meats for sure. I still eat a good bit of chicken and tuna. Added a few beans to my diet too and just a little bit of grains. We’ll see how it goes.

Busy park: It is busy here this weekend lots of folks coming and going. All my RV slots are filled up so not much for me to do but wait till tomorrow when they all hit the road and then it will be cleaning time. Sunday is my busy day.

Exercise: I am really chilling out this week, the doctor ask that I take it ease this week before going back next week to do my blood work again. I am not fully sure why he wanted me to do that but he did, so I will. I guess the knee could use a break anyways. Bottom line I am not walking or riding the bike much this week.

Weather: A welcome site, we got rain! It feels really nice to have the rain. Well, it didn’t last too long 😦 Still nice and cloudy so maybe later today.

Nice day: It has been a nice day here in the park.

Nexus 8?: Will Google announce the Nexus 8 at the up coming IO on June the 25? I wonder, can’t wait to see the specs. Should be a nice tablet. Many of the internet rumors say HTC will be the maker of the Nexus 8, but after being the owner of the Thunderbolt Phone I don’t know that I think that is all that great, like many on the net do. I was kind of hoping they would stick with Asus, I have enjoyed my Nexus 7 (2012) and I still am. The Nexus 7 (2013) can be had fairly cheap(under $200.00) now and I am not sure it might not be a good deal to go after.

Weather: The wind is much milder today, makes everyone happy πŸ™‚ There is still a little wind but not like it was.

Short Post: I do a lot of short post while I am volunteering don’t I? Well I do have a few other things going sometimes, but then again I always do pretty short post.

Friends: A couple of my friends showed yesterday evening and it is so good to have old friends around πŸ™‚ My friends, Mickey and Sandra, link to Mickey blog on the right side of my blog.

Diet/Weight: I am in the process of changing my diet up a littleΒ  and hoping to keep my weight the same (or lower πŸ˜‰ )Β  I have been on the Atkins diet for about two years now but it is time to see if I can get my diet more normal. I am doing this by slowly adding a lot more vegetable and fruits while removing some of the meats.Β  So far I am holding my weight down and not adding anything photo crossfingers.gif !

I am still fighting my soda pop habit (maybe tomorrow will be the first day back off the soda). I am drinking water like a mad man, about 2 gallons a day.

Stats: My stats are back to normal now (20 Hits or so a day ) and I think I feel better without all them people looking at me, I thought maybe my zipper was down or something, LOL!

Diet: I am switching up my diet a little. When I seen the doc the other day I was dehydrated, so I am adding a few carbohydrates back to my diet and taking out some fats. So …. Lots of vegetables, fish, chicken, turkey, tuna and other low fat meats. I will be cutting back on red meats as a whole but I will still eat red meats but it will be very little compare to now.

Friends: I have a couple of friends coming today,Β  and it will be good to see them.

Busy

Busy: Sunday are busy days for me here because it is the day most leave out after the weekend of camping, and everything has to be cleaned up. Also this Sunday has a lot of day use folks coming out. The rest of the week is slower. It is about 3:30 and I just now have time to sat down to my blog.

Weather: Most of the day the wind has been kind of mild but it is just starting to pick up a little but not as bad as it was yesterday or the day before.

Bird of the week: Going with another common bird from back east, a Cardinal. I have lots of Cardinal pictures, so if I have the time I will do a new one each day this week.

Not sure why I am getting this space above 😦
Exercise and Stretching: I got a little of both done today, walked just over two miles this morning(didn’t take my app) and stretched when I got back.

Night folks

It’s a Sunday

Yes a lazy Sunday is upon us, one last day off for me. I think I will do a little shopping today and later on maybe a bike ride.

This morning I was playing around in Windows and realized that I had installed Skype the app instead of the desktop version of Skype. I changed this right away. Man, the apps are just desktop hogs, when it comes to using space on the screen. If you want to talk to someone on Skype and use another program while chatting it would not work out to well with the app Skype. You know, thinking on this ………… if Microsoft really wanted to make in roads in the mobile area, one the things that I would like to see changed is the ability to see as many apps on a tablet or phone as I like with screens that could be sized as I like. In other words make the app world like the desktop world and not the other way around. I think this would be a good selling point for me. Yes, I like the ideal of re-sizable apps! There are a few apps that do this now and I have one called, Stick It, and it is a video app that I use to play podcast, needless to say it is one of my favorites.

I could not get an encryption software to work on all my devices, it is possible but it is not happening for me, I am missing something. I guess the big thing is I don’t know much about Linux. No matter, I took the long road and I am using two pieces of software, one to sync from Windows to Linux (Truecryt) and one to sync from Windows to Android (BoxCryptor) and I use Bropbox for the cloud in both cases. Both these pieces of software make a Drive on your computer so when I update a file that I want everywhere, I then  just drop that file in both Drives and then everything is synced with Bropbox.

Today is another nice cool day here in Deming, it is great that we are having these days of cooler weather, but it is sure not to last long, with it being near mid May already.

Time for a new bird and this week it is a Northern Cardinal on a rainy day in KY around 6 years ago. I would think that this is a summer rain and I was sating on the pouch with my camera on a tripod and just enjoying myself, I miss those days sometimes but not enough that I want to go back. No, I am never going back, it is just a part of my pass.

Enough for today, later.
