Walk: I took a two-mile walk this morning and forgot to turn on my app, MapMyWalk. I kind of like keeping track of my exercise any more but sometimes I forget. I may add to this later.
Bird of the Week: Another thing I forgot with the moving, the new volunteering job and other things going on. I still have not gotten out and took any pictures but I will as the weather warms up a bit. But in the mean time ….. Here is a Black- headed Grosbeak.
Computers: I am still spending a lot of time on the computers. Today I have played with portable software. I often look at others folk’s computers, trying to help them with problems and lots of time I wish I had my bookmarks and other things from my computer alone with me. Maybe these apps will help, they have portable Firefox and lots of other tools to do things with computers.
Computers: Since being hooked-up to electric I haven’t got off my computers. Too much electric? LOL. Today I have been seeing up a potable USB drive with ask my favorite portable apps. I got my friends computer in working condition, with all the malware now under control.
Walk: I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 1.56mi, time: 29:17, pace: 18:50min/mi, speed: 3.19mi/h.
Very short walk
Weather: Unseasonably cool weather with snow, wind and cold. Today the wind has been milder. The weekend should be back to much better weather.
Blogging: I’m getting a bit behind with my blogging and I’ll have to take a day soon to catch up. Mostly I’ve slacked up reading the blogs of fellow bloggers that I follow.
I have done much of nothing today, just hang out and play with the computers. Today I got on a kick of playing with Portable Apps. It is a neat little program that run many other programs on a USB stick. Lots of goods ones too, here is a few of them. You can add other apps that is not listed too.
I have run into my first problem with Windows 8 preview, and that is that Ditto my clipboard manager don’t work just right. Not sure what ups up with that.
Well we should have a friend coming in soon, and it will be good to see her.
