Rose-Breasted Grosbeak

Cooler: It is a pretty day out today and the good thing is that the wind is not blowing much. Yesterday was madding windy!

WordPress/Google: I use the Noscript extension in Firefox and when I log into WordPress.com I usually have to allow WordPress.com and wp.com and I am good to go to do all the things I need to do on the blog. Over the last few days I have notice that I have to allow google.com and google-analytics.com in order for everything to work (Tags, proof reader and the tool bar just above the text box). I really don’t like allowing google anything pass my Noscript extension. If this continues I will stop using tags and find another way to proof read my text, its not like I am all that good at this writing thing anyways! I will miss the handy tool bar.
I do understand that this interconnection is what allows google search to find my blog and things in my post on the blog, however if I was worry about all that I would just use google blogger. I think I am one of these folks that would like to see big tech companies (like Google) broke apart.

Looking ahead

Pictures: Some old shots for today. I have not taken many pictures over the last 3 weeks, so it is time for some old shots. A fellow blogger, Hien posted some great shots of the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak and made me realizes that I miss the eastern birds 🙂 After I made a commend on his blog, he mention that I had the Black-Headed GrosBeak in this area which reminded me of both the picture I posted today.

Swamp thing/Weather: Today I sold the Swamp thing and I am now using the AC which does a good job and I don’t have to add water ever couple hours, of course it cost more to run. Getting ready for a new and hopefully a cooler place 🙂 The whole south-west is hotter than normal now and it will be warmer than it should be about anywhere I go but I think it will get back to more normal temperatures as the summer goes alone. I sure hope so.

Diet/Exercise: I have been off my Atkins diet for some time now but I need to get back at it and maybe getting a little isolated will help, so I am keeping that in mind on this move. My exercise routine has not been up to power either, mostly due to my knees hurting so maybe a good diet with a little weight lost can help that too.

Exify plugin: Do you use plugins in your Browser? I use a good bunch of them and one of my favorites is Exify for the Firefox browser. If you have it install and hover over an image it will give you basic Exif info, but only if it is there of course. Sometimes I need a second plugin to see some Exif data in an image and I use Exif Viewer for that, by right clicking on the image and picking View Link Exif Data it gives you more detail, lots more. Neither work all the time but one or the other work most of the time.

Weather: It has been running a little warm but the weatherman says it will be cooling off soon. Still the night have been fine and that is the most important.

Sheep: The herd of sheep came through again today, It’s pretty good size with a couple dogs in the mix too. I seen an older guy in a truck that I seen in here before perhaps he is the sheepherder.

Weather: Coolish morning 😨 to start the day. Still in going to enjoy this weather because it will get cooler when I go to Grants in April. March here will be very warm here and then I’ll have the shock of Grants, NM coolish April weather. So in light of it all it is a beautiful day 😀

Exercise: Another short walk. I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 2.27mi, time: 45:58, pace: 20:16min/mi, speed: 2.96mi/h.

Little Trip: Went into Blythe for a while this afternoon, goofing off mostly.

Birds: Okay, here is the last of the Rose-breasted Grosbeaks. These birds where enjoying my platform feeder, back in the day when I was in a stick and brick. (stick and brick = House 🙂 )

Exercise: I walk a couple miles this morning and rode the bike for 4 miles this afternoon.

Added two more miles of bike riding to the day.

Weather: We have overcast skies this afternoon so maybe some rain later. Sure makes it cooler.

Weather: We are into the hottest part of the month it seems and I am feeling it. Heat with just a little humidity added. 89° with 53% humidity, which is high to me, being in the desert for the last few years.

Caught in the rain: I took my bike for a ride in the park and a rain came up really fast, got a little wet but it felt pretty good to tell the truth 🙂
