Worried needlessly

Beautiful day: coming down. The early mornings are just a tad chilly but by 10am it shorts and t-shirt weather. I like it πŸ™‚ If you read my blog all the time, you know it being too cool was one of the things I worried about coming here in April, but the worrying was was all for nothing, because I’m enjoying it tremendously.

Afternoon update: It did turn off to be a cloudy day but still not cold.

Walk: About 10am I got out and started my walk and it was a good one, in one of my favorite places. I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 3.25mi, time: 01:03:28, pace: 19:33min/mi, speed: 3.07mi/h.
Mapmywalk I did add in some good stretching.

At some point in the next few days it will be time to do my most favorite walk here at Blue Water and that is to walk around the lake(about 5 to 6 miles). Today I decided on one of my other favorite walks here in Blue Water and that is a walk back through the canyon behind where I’m park. If I’ve not said it yet, this is a great place for my kind of walking, and yet another thing I’m so enjoying about being here.

Happenings: Today here at Bluewater lake they have open up all the camping areas, that means it getting busy. There are a lot of folks here, for the weekend, and it looks like they’ll having a good time. They are still coming in for the weekend. I’ll have to go look around in a bit, and see all the rigs.

Added a stroll : to my day, not enough energy use to call it a walk. I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 1.85mi, time: 42:37, pace: 22:59min/mi, speed: 2.61mi/h.
Stroll Mostly out seeing how full the place is getting, there are a good many people and rigs.

Stroll or walk?

Weather surprise: It is certainly cooler than expected for this time of year here, I’m sure it won’t last long. AZ has given me a good long stay of 6 months, all with pretty good weather.

Stroll : I took a short slow stroll, maybe a mile. Just to get out of the RV for a bit. I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 1.05mi, time: 40:04, pace: 38:04min/mi, speed: 1.58mi/h.

Walk: Went out to take a second stroll but it turn into a walk. This one was in the mountains too πŸ™‚ I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 3.58mi, time: 01:34:55, pace: 26:29min/mi, speed: 2.27mi/h.

WordPress App: I see the WordPress app on my tablet got updated but I don’t see much difference about it. Maybe it helped it out under the hood.
Ha, I found one change. To refresh a post you have to pull down from the top now while on that post, the circle arrows are gone. I switch between the tablet and the computer sometimes and I have to do this to see the changes I have made from one to the other. LOL, mess me up for a minute or two, till I could figure out how to do the refresh.

Chatting

Weight 185.4: I guess I need to start practicing my growling, you know, the bigger than a bear thing! LOL. I’ll just keep playing with little adjustments in my diet, maybe I’ll figure it out.

4 Wheelers: Man, there is a lot of them that comes to this area. Sometimes I wish I had one to play with, looks like they have great fun riding around on them. As I watch and look at all the trails they go on I’m a bit surprise by just how well they climb around the mountains. They seen to go about anywhere. On the bad side of things, for us parked RVers they make a good bit of dust, but hey, if you are out in the desert camping free, you got to share. Fair enough. I could move about a thousand feet from here and I would hardly notice them. I just happen to park near the trail where they come in. Also this is the weekend so there is a little more activity going on. Come Monday all the four-wheeling folks will have to go back to work to pay for those neat little toys.
If I was still working it might be that I too would have one of the 4-wheelers. But that is Okay, while out walking it is not apt that I will turn-over and kill myself, just looking at the good side of thing πŸ˜›

Walk: No real walking today, I just did a little strolling and ended up chatting with one of the other RVers. I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 1.53mi, time: 01:00:46, pace: 39:50min/mi, speed: 1.51mi/h.

Added a second stroll, can’t sat still today. I walked with MapMyWalk+! Distance: 1.16mi, time: 33:22, pace: 28:51min/mi, speed: 2.08mi/h.
http://mapmywalk.com/workout/502254471 I do these strolls a good bit but I have not been keeping track of them. I especially do a lot of them when I come into a area I’ve never been before.

Bike ride: I have been itching to do some bike riding but highway 95 is a busy road and it don’t have a lot of shoulder room.

Bird of the Week: and on time this week πŸ™‚ This is a Downy Woodpecker and this shot was taken in KY

Dolphin Browser : I’m on the beta release and this one has some big changes to the interface. So if you are Dolphin user be ready.

Early start

I got a nice early start today. Not sure what I will get into today other than the normal things I do everyday. Yes, my life is just too exciting, LOL. I like the slow pace most of the time but now and then I do get a little bored with it all.

It is supposed to hit in the 70s today, so if the wind stays down I will take a nice bike ride later on, and maybe a short walk to go with it. My knees are doing better now that I am keeping my bike rides to around 10 miles a day. I really like the longer rides but I will have to do them much less often, if I want the knees to behave.

Water; I picked up 14 gallons this morning. I don’t use a lot of water when I am out in the boondocks. I use maybe 4 gallons a day, about a gallon for my bath, and 2 to 3 gallons for dishes. I do cook 3 to 4 times a day so there is a good many dishes. I drink at least a gallon a day but that is water I get from the machines, 5 gallon for .50β‚΅ and it is filter water. The water for the RV is just city water, which ain’t too bad here in Wellton.

12:30 and my exercise is done. Just got back from my bike ride ( 10 miles). Later this afternoon I will do a little stretching to finish things off.

Just finished off my first glass of tea. Man oh man, I think next week when I am trying to get by on one glass a day, it is going to be a fight! Bad habits are hard to break!

2pm; My stretching is done, now maybe I will take a short walk now and that will be good for today. The walk will be more for pleasure than exercise, it will be more like a stroll, while I do a little bird watching. I thinkΒ  I willΒ  do that now and when I come back I will be ready for my second glass of tea πŸ˜‰

All you folks have a nice day.
