Pair of Cowbirds
Pictures: Here is a male and females Brown-headed Cowbird.
Exercise: We walked 3.6 miles today and it was a windy walk but despite the weather we had a great walk.
Weather: It is a bit cool and windy too, hopefully this won’t last too long. It is cool enough that I am running heat in the RV.

Young Black-headed Grosbeak
Pictures: Here is a young Black-headed Grosbeak (I think it is a young bird because it’s head is kind of specked black). I had never notice the yellow on the belly before so maybe it is just on the young ones.
Update: No I was wrong the Adults have the yellow patch too, but not as bright.

Exercise: We walked just over 2.75 miles this morning.
Weather: It is nice weather with the only exception is it being a little Windy. Over all it was great this weekend.

Exercise: I walked about 2 miles today. Seems I am walking about every other day now 😦
Data/Phone Plan: I guess this month I’ll be testing the limits of this Verizon Unlimited Plan, I am near 7 gigs and I am only about 8 days in. I am sure to go over this month in both the 10 gig data limit as hotspot/MiFi Device and the total limit of 22 gigs, if I see any slowing I’ll let you know! This is not the best place for testing as the area has very slow 4G on any plan.
Weather: It has been just fine! A little windy sometimes but that is not all the bad to me.

Exercise: I rode the bike for 6 miles today and walk maybe a 1/4 mile with a friend.

I want Sunshine!
Pictures: The cloudy days are staying around for a while, not why I come here! The good thing is, it will pass 🙂
If I want to see a bird out my window ….. 
In all fairness I do get to watch Hummers when it is not real windy like today. On windy days, I have to set my Humming feeder on the ground to keep the wind from rocking it back and froth causing all the sugar water to spill out. This sugar water would end up on the side of my RV.
Mind you, if I was not in such a homebody mode when I was here in my winter area, I am sure there are areas not far away that would be pretty good birding places if I got out and about.
Exercise: It is already 3:30 pm and I have not did any exercise, not sure I will get to that today.
Solar: There has been a couple of days in a row now with little to no sunshine, I may have to get out the generator for a while tonight. I don’t very often have to do that with my solar system on the RV. I have about 520 watts of solar on the roof and 4 batteries to store the power in which is about right for my needs. In the RV solar game some folks need/want/have far more and some need/want/have far less, all depends on how you use things and your needs/wants. I think that I am likely in the middle of the road with my system. I do see a lot of folks that have half or less but than I see them use their generators far more (sometimes not always). I see some that have twice as much and still run a generator a lot (sometimes not always). I find few folks that are at just the right amount for their needs. I think solar is kind of like money …. the more you got the more you spend, the more solar you have the more you use 🙂
Internet : My connection continues to be problematic, with all the folks around. Could be that the weather is not helping much today.

Yellow-rumped Warbler
Pictures: This morning these two came by for a nice cool bath. It was about 50° this morning and I had just open the door of the RV and was debating whether or not to close it and fire up the heater, but I stayed tough and was rewarded with these shots 🙂
Both of these are females but the first bird is a first winter bird.
Weather: It is cool this morning and windy but the weatherman says it will get near 70° today.
Exercise: I got out and walk a couple miles with a friend today. Added five miles on the bike.

Old Friend
Pictures: White Crown Sparrow, a picture I took while in Kingman, AZ and another Say’s Phoebe Shot. Neither of these shots where taken very close but I still like them.
Exercise: Took a walk this morning, about 3 miles is my guess.
Old Friend: I got a friend that is coming to the area that I met not long after I started RVing. I worked with him at an RV park, stay at his place, and kept in contact with and he is also a photo bug! It is always good to see those kind of old friends, I look forward to it.
Weather : It is nice but still a bit windy.
Update; Enjoyed my day with my friend.

Weather: Windy, did I say Windy? It is!! Temperature is good but the wind has been crazy this year in this area. However, watching the news … I got it petty good considering what the weather is in other places across the U.S.!
